About Julie Bilbrey

Julie Bilbrey is a versatile professional and lifelong country girl with a rich background in ranching, business, and community service. Born and raised on a family ranch near Broadus, MT, she graduated from Powder River County High School in Broadus, MT in 1984, and obtained a degree in Applied Management from National American University in Rapid City, SD. Throughout her career, Julie has accumulated experience in accounting, tax preparation, payroll management, web development, and social media marketing. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to co-manage family livestock and haying operations, a trucking business, and a bar. Julie's commitment to community service is evident in her roles as an AmeriCorps VISTA and foster parent, and her community involvement extends to leadership positions in various organizations. She has served as a 4-H leader and held positions in local Chambers of Commerce and Economic Development groups, often as Treasurer-elect.

A mother to three adult children and grandmother to a "horse-loving, barrel-racing firecracker of a granddaughter", Julie is an adventurous spirit who works remotely and enjoys exploring back-country areas from the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming to the Arizona desert, often traveling by Jeep, SxS, or horseback. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, reading, music, traveling (has visited 43 US states), and Caribbean vacations on the Outlaw Country Cruise.

Julie is known for her strong work ethic, developed from the true grit required of ranch life, years of self-employment, and her ability to find humor in life's situations. Julie’s life exemplifies the versatility and resilience often associated with rural America. Her diverse experiences, from ranch work to digital services, coupled with her adventurous spirit and commitment to community, paint a picture of a well-rounded individual who embraces both tradition and innovation.
